I am happy to admit that I am not on the forefront of modern sneaker knowledge. In fact I would sooner endorse the sneakers of yore. That’s why it was a pleasant surprise to see that adidas have updated another one of their classics. The Gazelle is a strong favourite, but second for me is the ’85 Marathon. My dad had these and I thought they were awesome even then.
The retro runners will be available in colourways such as Hero Blue, Orange, Bluebird and White Vapour from adidas Originals stores at Canal Walk, V&A Waterfront and Menlyn Mall in South Africa.
